President and Founder
Richard is the President and Founder of Definitive Wealth. Richard founded Definitive Wealth in response to overwhelming demand from Vancouver-based residents and entrepreneurs to assist in Canadian tax return preparation and planning.
Richard has over 9 years of Canadian tax experience with PwC Canada LLP (a "big four" national accounting firm). He has assisted clients in a wide range of industries including technology, film, real estate, manufacturing, digital media, and insurance, with clients ranging in size from local owner-managed businesses to large, multi-national, publicly-traded corporations. Richard’s past experiences allow him to assess and analyze business issues and opportunities from an accounting, tax, and business standpoint.
Richard is also an award-winning accounting and tax lecturer that has developed and instructed undergraduate and graduate courses at the University of British Columbia, Douglas College, Simon Fraser University, the British Columbia Institute of Technology (BCIT), and Kwantlen Polytechnic University.
